Gauthier ERVYN has been a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2000. He has also had a secondary practice at the Bar of Charleroi since 2012.
He has been a partner at VDE LEGAL since 2008.
He holds a master’s degree in law (UCL, 1999) and a special diploma in European law (University of Ghent, 2000). He also spent part of his university studies at the Law School of the University of Louisiana State Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA (1999).
Gauthier Ervyn specializes in public and administrative law, in particular contract law and public procurement. He advises numerous public authorities and commercial companies as regards the award and implementation of this type of agreement, and represents the latter before the ordinary courts and the Council of State.
He is the author of several academic articles in the field of contracts and public contracts and regularly acts as a speaker at seminars.
He also has a recognized experience in commercial law and European law, as well as in sports law. He is also Arbitrator to the Commission interfédérale disciplinaire contre le dopage (CIDD) (2012).
He is Director of the Chambre d’Arbitrage des Experts (2012).
He speaks French, Dutch and English.
