For many years, he was editor-in-chief of the magazine Sport & Recht, and in that capacity he was also a co-organiser of various study days, focusing on public-private partnerships and sports infrastructure. He was also a member of the editorial board of the successor of that magazine – SupPORT, tijdschrift voor sport en recht, management, beleid, financiën en ethiek.
Bart Van Hyfte works in both Dutch and French and can also converse in English.
